About the Author
Richard Platt began writing in 1983, and has since published more than 100 books specializing in children's nonfiction. Bought this book for my eight year old grandson. He is very interested in Spy information. Although some of the material is advance for him right now, this is a book he will enjoy as he ages.
I got this book for my son for Christmas. Christmas Eve, before I wrapped it, I sat down and read most of it...it was so interesting! My seven year old loves it, but he's an above average reader. I found my husband reading it the other day, saying, "hey, did you know that..." All the Eyewitness books are great, this one is no exception!
My son is 10 years old and loves this book. I read some of it too and it is so interesting that I could not put it down. It is hardcover and it came with a cd also.
I can say this really gives some insight to the world of spies and how it differs from the fictional world.
Love the DK Eyewitness Books. I'm keep buying them for my kids. Really.
Bought this for my special needs, non-reading, adult son. He loves the pictures!
Grand-daughter wants this for Christmas after getting it from the Library. : )
