This edition sucks. This edition (4th) only has "Disease" section and a "Drug" section. There is the "Alternative Medciine" section, but let's be real, it should be called "Filler Section"The third edition was my Holy Grail. It had a section for different types of surgeries, drugs, and disease states. The surgery section is the most useful/important.The paper in this edition is also poor quality and thin.
I am in CRNA school and this book was recommended by an anesthesiologist that I work with. It has common disease processes and anesthesia considerations. Easy to find. They are listed in alphabetical order. Easy to read as each disease process is summarized pretty well.

The online access is a great feature too, you don't need to carry the actual book around.I have used this book in my day to day practice. Highly recommend adjunct to standard textbooks for any one practicing anesthesia.

Last version had a better layout. Not as helpful. I would have liked more information on surgeries and procedures instead of diseases.
